Laura is faculty with the CalStateTEACH Program in the Southern California region. Laura joined CalStateTEACH in 2000. Her role is to supervise, coach, and facilitate instruction with multiple-subject K-12 teacher candidates using the latest educational-based technologies. She presented many edtech workshops and seminars on implementing computer and mobile technology in the classroom over the past 30+ years. Most recently, she has researched the effectiveness of Nearpod in supporting formative feedback during instruction, and co-authored a paper for the California Council on Teacher Education (CCTE) Quest for Teacher Education Research. She currently serves as a delegate for the CCTE. She earned her MS Degree in 1985 at Pepperdine University in Educational Technology. She lives in Huntington Beach with her daughter and two dogs.
